[E2 News] “Kim Hyun-soo Stem Cell Clinic” Opens, Dedicated Exclusively to Stem Cell Research

Dr. Kim Hyun-soo, the developer of the stem cell therapy “Cellgram-AMI,” has opened the “Kim Hyun-soo Stem Cell Clinic,” named after himself.
Positioned as a research-oriented hospital, this medical institution was established by PamiCell Co., Ltd.—which has been conducting various clinical studies using stem cells—by consolidating its accumulated research expertise.

There is little disagreement that the field of stem cell therapy is the one that comes closest to overcoming intractable diseases.

However, despite the interest shown by patients with such conditions, the reality is that there is a severe shortage of medical institutions offering treatments based on proven therapies. Accordingly, the Kim Hyun-soo Stem Cell Clinic announced that it was established based on proven infrastructure and extensive clinical data on stem cell therapies and anticancer treatments for brain, spinal cord, heart, and lung diseases.

Director Kim Hyun-soo stated,

“I embarked on this treatment with the sole intention of giving hope to the lives of patients with intractable diseases,” adding, “Just as we have done so far, we will continue to focus exclusively on stem cell research.” Current research is underway for indications such as heart disease, cerebral infarction, spinal cord injury, pulmonary fibrosis, and severe lower limb ischemia. In particular, “Cellgram-Liver,” a stem cell therapy for liver cirrhosis, is successfully completing Phase 2 clinical trials, having published numerous papers demonstrating the treatment’s efficacy.

The Stem Cell Center treats intractable diseases, including stroke, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), and spinal cord injury, as well as acute myocardial infarction, ischemic cardiomyopathy, cirrhosis, and peripheral artery disease, with the goal of alleviating symptoms or treating the underlying causes through stem cell therapy.

In addition to basic internal medicine care, the Internal Medicine Center operates an “internal anti-aging” program that incorporates stem cells to extend lifespan through treatments targeting organs, tissues, and blood vessels.
