“Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Commendation” 2016 Venture Revitalization Merit Award… Recognized for Pioneering Stem Cell Therapies and Expanding Their Reach

[Medical Times=] Kim Hyun-soo, CEO of Pamicell (co-CEOs Kim Hyun-soo and Kim Seong-rae), received the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Award at the “2016 Venture Revitalization Merit Awards” ceremony hosted by the Korea Venture Business Association.

Kim Hyun-soo, CEO of PamiCell, is a physician-turned-CEO who developed “Cellgram-AMI,” the world’s first stem cell therapy, in 2011. Earlier this year, he opened the Kim Hyun-soo Clinic, a medical institution specializing in stem cell therapy, and currently serves as its chief director.

CEO Kim founded Pamisell Co., Ltd. in 2002 and, after more than a decade of clinical trials, succeeded in developing stem cells into pharmaceuticals. He was recognized for his contributions to pioneering the stem cell therapy market and expanding the application of stem cell treatments for various intractable diseases.

CEO Kim Hyun-soo stated, “The stem cell sector is a prime growth engine industry where fierce competition is underway globally to secure an industrial advantage,” adding, “Pamisell will spare no effort to become a global leader in this field through continuous research and development.”
